This is a smooth riding bicycle with great shock absorption. Gear shifting is a breeze and the disc brakes are nice. I was a little disappointed to find out the handlebars and pedals have to be removed when folding the bike if you want to store it in the trunk of a small car. It's not a whole lot of trouble or that time consuming, but still not as easy to fold as my Dahon Espresso. On the other hand, the Matrix doesn't look like a folding bike. Would have preferred a wider saddle.
